Go Green Initiative
In alignment with the third “Green Pharos” environmental campaign and PUA’s ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional application, the Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences hosted a distinguished guest lecture for Strategic Management students. The session featured Col. Dr. Eng. Emad Mahmoud Sobieh as an industry expert. He presented the latest global trends in modern management, highlighting the practical transformation of academic theories into successful business strategies within major institutions and corporations.
The lecture witnessed significant interaction between the guest speaker and the students, as Dr. Sobieh utilized real-world case studies to illustrate complex strategic decision-making processes and competitive market analysis. He emphasized the vital role of innovative thinking in developing effective business plans capable of addressing contemporary economic challenges. These discussions provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore how strategic concepts are implemented in professional environments characterized by rapid change and high competitive demands.
During the session, Dr. Sobieh stressed that the strategic direction of modern organizations is increasingly centered on integrating environmental sustainability principles into long-term planning to achieve a balance between economic performance and environmental preservation. He explained that adopting “Go Green” initiatives is no longer a secondary option but a core pillar of successful business strategies. This perspective perfectly aligns with Pharos University’s vision and its “Green Pharos” campaign, aiming to prepare a generation of administrative leaders who are fully aware of their responsibilities toward both society and the environment.
