In its continuous effort to refine students’ skills and transform artistic passion into professional design solutions, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, held a specialized workshop titled Building Design Concepts and Inspiration”. The workshop focused on deconstructing the creative process and training students that a successful design is not just a fleeting spark but the result of rigorous and systematic analysis.

The workshop covered strategic pillars, including mechanisms for analyzing design problems and understanding user needs and behaviors within an architectural or design space. Students were trained on how to translate this data into actionable Concepts that balance innovation with feasibility. Furthermore, the session explored non-traditional sources of inspiration, demonstrating how to effectively utilize nature, heritage, or technology to produce unique design visions. This initiative aims to produce creative outputs that reflect the academic and professional excellence of PUA’s students, moving beyond conventional and repetitive patterns.
