Expressive Costume Design in Cinema

As part of its student activities programs, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted Prof. Dr. Samia Abdel Aziz, Professor of Expressive Costume Design at the Higher Institute of Cinema, to deliver a specialized workshop on Expressive Costume Design in Cinema and Television.

The workshop addressed the importance of costume as a crucial element in building dramatic character and expressing the vision of the director and writer, in addition to showcasing practical examples from prominent cinematic and television works. The workshop offered numerous practical experiences to inspire the new generation of designers in the field of visual arts.

This event is part of the Faculty’s efforts to support creativity and develop its students’ skills through scientific and artistic meetings with leading experts and specialists in various art fields.
