For a more aware and healthy generation, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, hosted Prof. Dr. Maher Soliman, Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, in a meeting aimed at discussing avenues for joint cooperation to spread health awareness among university students.
The meeting came as an affirmation of PUA’s commitment to its pioneering role in supporting health and community initiatives, and its continuous endeavor to equip its students with knowledge that protects them against health risks and instills in them a culture of prevention as a foundation for a better life. Dr. Mohamed Etman stressed that PUA places health awareness development among the priorities of its community service plan, stemming from its belief that education is inseparable from health and sustainable development.
For his part, Dr. Maher Soliman praised the university’s role in promoting health awareness among youth, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between academic and medical institutions to disseminate correct medical knowledge and build a more aware and healthier society.
