Enhancing Community Partnership

As part of fostering social cooperation and building effective partnerships between state institutions and universities, PUA hosted a fruitful meeting that brought together Counselor Dr. Khadija Abdullah Fattouh, Counselor at the Administrative Prosecution Authority, Public Prosecutor for Labor Affairs in Alexandria, and member of the Governorates Committee at the National Council for Women. The guest was received by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Dr. Alaa Khalil, PUA’s Student Activities Coordinator.

The meeting affirmed PUA’s leading role in community service and public awareness, as attendees discussed prospects for joint cooperation in implementing qualitative initiatives aimed at youth empowerment and promoting a culture of volunteerism. The meeting addressed a set of constructive ideas and proposals, including holding a series of awareness seminars within the University with the participation of representatives from civil society institutions, as well as exploring ways to involve affiliates of charitable organizations, particularly orphans and people of determination, in attending these purposeful events and programs, thereby fostering social inclusion and embodying the concept of the University as a supporter of comprehensive human development.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman stressed the importance of such partnerships, which embody the University’s mission as a scientific and humanitarian edifice contributing to human development and the surrounding environment. He noted that PUA always seeks to transform its vision for community service, environmental, and social responsibility into realistic projects with a tangible impact that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
