As part of the activities of its third environmental campaign, “Green Pharos” PUA’s Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences held a scientific seminar titled “Economic Perspectives in Microeconomics: Understanding Social Interest and Sustainability”. The seminar was presented by Dr. Norhan Gamal, Faculty’s “Green Pharos” representative.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the relationship between microeconomics and social interest, and how to integrate sustainability concepts into economic analysis and decision-making, thereby achieving a balance between economic growth, social responsibility, and environmental protection.

During the seminar, Dr. Norhan Gamal reviewed applied models linking sustainability and behavioral economics, emphasizing the importance of incorporating environmental and social values into institutional strategies to promote sustainable development.

This seminar comes within the framework of PUA’s commitment to supporting environmental and economic awareness and embedding the principles of sustainability in academic curricula and student activities, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
