In a major charitable manifestation reflecting PUA’s comprehensive social role, the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) conducted an extensive campaign to distribute “Ramadan Bags” to underprivileged families in the Abis District. The campaign targeted families registered with the “Wokalaa El-Kheir” and “Mujeeb El-Saileen” associations to provide essential food supplies ahead of the Holy Month.

The convoy was had a notable presence of student volunteers from five faculties: Financial and Administrative Sciences, Mass Communication, Languages and Translation, Dentistry, and Applied Health Sciences Technology. This diversity in student participation embodies PUA’s vision of integrating all disciplines into a single framework to serve families in rural areas and surrounding communities.

CSED’s administration praised the meticulous organization and field coordination demonstrated by the volunteers, emphasizing that reaching the “Abis” area reflects the university’s strategy to expand its social safety net across various geographical districts in Alexandria. This reinforces the values of compassion and deepens students’ sense of belonging to their community through direct volunteer work.
