Within its strategy to strengthen partnerships with industrial sectors, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, received Dr. Sherif El-Beily, Vice Chairman of the Printing and Packaging Chamber at the Federation of Egyptian Industries. The meeting aimed to establish a comprehensive cooperation framework to train and qualify Faculty of Arts and Design students according to the latest technical standards in the printing and packaging industry.

The discussion focused on activating field training programs within the Chamber’s affiliated factories and organizing specialized workshops led by industry experts in Graphic Print Design, Modern Packaging Technologies, and quality management. Both parties explored involving students in real-world applied projects to refine their creative skills and align them with actual production line requirements.

Dr. Etman emphasized that this collaboration serves as a vital bridge for transferring knowledge from industrial sites to classrooms. This ensures the graduation of professionals capable of leading innovation in printing and packaging—a fundamental pillar of the national industry—aligning with the university’s vision of providing applied education that serves the national economy.
