Digital Character Design

PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design held a specialized workshop titled “Digital Character Design“, as part of its programs aimed at developing students’ skills and enhancing their creative abilities in the fields of visual arts and digital design. The workshop was presented by Dr. Shaimaa Fouad, a lecturer in the Cinema Décor Department. She covered multiple axes, including the stages of developing a digital character from the initial idea to final drawing and execution. She also showed how to use colors and visual expressions to highlight the character’s identity and artistic nature.

The workshop included practical activities that enabled students to design their own characters under the supervision of the instructor, allowing them the opportunity to combine theoretical and applied aspects in an interactive and enjoyable learning experience. This event affirms the Faculty’s commitment to equipping its students with the necessary skills to keep pace with developments in the fields of digital design and creativity.
