Hekmat Ahmed

Biography:

Hekmat is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, Computer Department, at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. Driven by a strong passion for teaching English as a second language, she pursued the CELTA, which she completed in June 2022 at EG211, Pharos University in Alexandria (Cambridge CELTA Centre). In addition to her teaching role, she joined the university’s Testing Unit, where she spent around two years gaining valuable

insights into the field of language assessment. Hekmat has also had the honor of presenting at NileTESOL 2025 and the 2024 ELTSociety Annual Virtual Conference, where she conducted a workshop on listening assessment.

Hekmat has been working in Pharos University since September 2022.
