Conscious Design

As part of its third environmental campaign titled “Green Pharos”, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design held a seminar titled “Conscious Design: Practical Steps for Implementing Eco-Friendly Projects in Student Works”. This comes within the Faculty’s efforts to foster a culture of Green Thinking and spread awareness of its importance among university students. The seminar aimed to encourage students to integrate sustainability principles into their academic and creative projects, aligning with PUA’s direction towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and its vision for a more conscious and responsible future towards the environment and society.

The seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Salma Youssef Karrar, Faculty’s Sustainability Coordinator. She covered practical steps and applied methods to help students transform their creative ideas into projects that consider the environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability.
