Based on its vision to support artistic creativity and develop visual awareness among its students, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design held a workshop titled “Cinema Club”. The workshop aimed to cultivate artistic taste and analyze cinematic works from an academic and artistic perspective. The workshop included a screening of a selection of short and experimental films, followed by an interactive discussion between students and faculty members about elements of direction, cinematography, lighting, and soundtrack, thereby enhancing their critical and creative abilities in the field of visual arts.

The organizers affirmed that these activities are part of the Faculty’s plan to provide a stimulating educational environment that combines theoretical study with practical application, and instills in students an awareness of the role of the Seventh Art as a medium for cultural and social expression.
