In a bid to foster solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design organized a charity initiative to distribute Ramadan food packages to its staff, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and supervised by Dr. Aya Fathy, faculty’s Student Activities Coordinator.
The packages, filled with essential food items, aimed to alleviate financial burdens for families. Prof. Dr. Zeinab El-Demerdash, Dean of the Faculty, joined the event to commend participants, stating, “This initiative embodies our commitment to nurturing values of generosity and unity within our academic community.”
Students and staff enthusiastically engaged in distributing the packages, with many describing the experience as “a chance to strengthen bonds and provide tangible support.” The faculty administration praised the collective effort, expressing hopes to expand such programs in the future.
