Arts and Design Hosts Sidi Beshr Secondary School Students

As part of PUA’s role in serving the community and connecting educational institutions with university learning environments, the Faculty of Arts and Design hosted students from Sidi Beshr Secondary School for Girls. This visit was part of the Community Service and Environmental Development Center’s (CSED) series of events aimed at supporting artistic awareness and cultivating creativity among school students.

The visit included an introductory workshop within the Faculty, featuring tours of its labs and departments, explanations of the fields of study and artistic creation, as well as simple practical activities that allowed the students to gain close insight into the nature of artistic work and the methods of implementing design projects.

This workshop came as part of CSED’s commitment to opening new horizons for pre-university students, encouraging them to explore their abilities and talents, in addition to strengthening the University’s communication with the school community and supporting academic guidance paths. CSED affirmed that such events contribute to building interactive bridges between the University and the external community and support the discovery of artistic talents.
