Artificial Intelligence in Interior Design

As part of the student activities programs at PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design, a distinguished scientific seminar was organized under the title: “Interior Design Using Software Tools and Artificial Intelligence Applications.”
The seminar featured lectures delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasmine Mamdouh El Maghawry, Professor of Interior Designing, as well as Dr. Souzan Hassan Abdel Hamid, Lecturer of Interior Designing. These lectures covered the latest global trends in the field of interior design, and discussed the pivotal role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern software tools in developing creative work methodologies. Emphasis was placed on how these technologies can be used to analyze visual data and generate innovative design ideas.
These efforts aim to enhance the efficiency of designers and improve the quality of artistic outputs, keeping pace with technological advancements in the job market.
The seminar also showcased several applied models and specialized software for interior space design utilizing AI techniques, providing students with a unique opportunity to understand the capabilities of these tools.
