Welcome from the Dean
The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology at Pharos University was established in 2009, with academic studies commencing in the academic year 2009/2010. The faculty awards the Bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Sciences Technology across various specializations.
In alignment with the vision and mission of Pharos University, the Faculty is committed to delivering high-quality academic programs that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, aiming to prepare distinguished graduates in vital health specializations that meet the demands of the labor market. The faculty has adopted systematic strategic plans consistent with international quality standards and higher education quality assurance principles, thereby advancing its position in education and scientific research in modern health sciences.
Currently, the Faculty offers six specialized academic programs, namely: Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiological and Medical Imaging Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Nutrition and Food Safety Technology, Dental Prosthetics Technology and Critical Care and Anesthesia Technology. These programs are designed to graduate professionals who are capable of competing both locally and regionally, in line with the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
At the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology, we are committed to adopting the latest teaching, learning, and assessment strategies, while encouraging applied scientific research. We also place strong emphasis on the holistic development of students through diverse extracurricular activities, which contribute to preparing a conscious and innovative generation actively engaged in serving both the nation and the wider community.
