As part of the 3rd “Green Pharos” environmental campaign, PUA’s Faculty of Physical Therapy conducted an extensive afforestation campaign at the university nursery. The event was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ramy Salama, faculty’s Green Pharos representative.

The Community Service Center stated that the campaign aims to instill values of altruism and environmental responsibility in students, highlighting the vital role of afforestation in enhancing environmental quality and promoting public health—a goal that aligns with the core mission of the physical therapy profession to improve quality of life. Students actively participated in planting seedlings and received guidance on sustainable care techniques to ensure their continued growth.

This initiative underscores PUA’s commitment to integrating environmental awareness and volunteerism into the educational framework, fostering a generation of healthcare professionals who recognize the importance of a healthy environment for community well-being.
