Afforestation Campaign: Legal Studies and International Transactions
In alignment with the 3rd “Green Pharos” environmental campaign, PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions participated in an afforestation campaign at the university nursery. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Islam Abu Zeid, faculty’s Green Pharos representative.
The Community Service Center stated that the initiative aims to instill values of “environmental citizenship” and social responsibility among law students, emphasizing the vital impact of individual actions in protecting the environment as both an ethical and national duty. Students actively contributed to planting several seedlings and learned scientific maintenance techniques to ensure their healthy and sustainable growth.
This participation underscores the faculty’s commitment to engaging students in sustainability issues and fostering an awareness of natural resource preservation as an integral pillar of sustainable development.
