Afforestation Campaign: Languages and Translation
As part of the 3rd “Green Pharos” environmental campaign, PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation conducted an extensive afforestation campaign at the university nursery. The event took place under the supervision of Dr. Sayed Hassouna, faculty’s Green Pharos Committee representative.
The Community Service Center stated that the campaign aims to instill a culture of environmental awareness among students and enhance their leadership role in conservation. By increasing green spaces, the initiative contributes to improving air quality and beautifying the campus environment. During the event, students actively participated in planting several seedlings and learned scientific techniques for proper plant care and maintenance.
This initiative underscores PUA’s commitment to integrating practical application and social responsibility into the educational process, ensuring that graduates possess both environmental consciousness and academic excellence.
