Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) spare no efforts to promote social responsibility and instilling values of support and humanity among its students. Within this context, the Community Service and Environmental Development Center at the Faculty of Mass Communication visited Ali Ibn Abi Talib Orphanage, with the participation of a group of the Faculty’s students and faculty members.
The visit aimed to integrate students into effective community initiatives that contribute to developing their awareness of their role in community service, in addition to bringing joy to the children and offering them psychological support. The program included a variety of recreational and interactive activities, as well as the presentation of gifts and stations for human interaction between the students and the children.
The Center affirmed that such visits are part of its annual plan to strengthen community partnerships and motivate students to participate in volunteer work, which positively reflects on building their character and developing their communication and leadership skills. PUA continues its commitment to an active role in community service through practical initiatives that instill the spirit of giving and deepen the concept of social responsibility among its students.
