PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation hosted a lively seminar on the art of stand-up comedy. Ms. Zeinab Kamal delivered an insightful presentation, introducing the audience to the concept of stand-up as a performance art that involves comedians presenting stories, humorous situations, and social observations directly to a live audience in a witty and engaging manner.

In addition, she emphasized that this genre heavily depends on the performer’s charisma, audience interaction, and the effective use of body language, gestures, and improvisation. A key element, she noted, is the ability to narrate personal experiences and real-life events in a humorous way.

The event witnessed enthusiastic engagement from both faculty members and students, creating an atmosphere of laughter, learning, and joy.
