In a trip that combines art and heritage in service of the community, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design organized a field visit to the Royal Jewelry Museum in the Ziziniya district. This was part of the activities of the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), and under the supervision of Dr. Dina Adly. The visit aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the importance of artistic and architectural heritage as a component of cultural identity, and to develop their creative sense by exploring the details of design and ornamentation in one of Alexandria’s most prominent historical landmarks.
The students toured the palace’s halls and drew inspiration from its decorations and facades to enrich their future artistic projects, affirming that the experience added a practical dimension and a deeper insight into historical aesthetics. Dr. Dina Adly emphasized that this visit is part of the Faculty and Community Service Center’s efforts to develop aesthetic awareness, preserve cultural heritage, and link academic art to the community and surrounding environment.
