In a strategic move to align with the national objectives of Egypt Vision 2030, PUA held an extensive training session for faculty members and teaching assistants on integrating sustainability standards into the curricula. The meeting was held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amr Abdallah, Dean of the Faculty, with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mennatallah Gowayed and Dr. Samar Bassam, to lead awareness efforts and evaluate the current status of scientific courses.
The sessions aimed to measure the alignment of academic content with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and identify courses requiring updates to enhance students’ environmental and social awareness. The faculty administration emphasized that this project seeks to identify areas for improvement across all scientific departments, ensuring that graduates possess a comprehensive vision of sustainability. This initiative positions PUA as a role model in the transition toward sustainable higher education.
