Within the framework of its interest in community service and environmental development activities, the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology participated in organizing a cultural seminar on “The Impact of Anti-Corruption on Developing Loyalty and Belonging to the Homeland”.

 

The seminar took place under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, PUA’s President, Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abu El-Ela, Vice President for Environmental Development and Community Service Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rajaa Abdel Qader, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology. In addition to Prof. Dr. Hamdi Al-Wakil, Vice Dean, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Badawi, Acting Head of the Medical Devices Department and seminar moderator. The seminar was delivered by Gen. Dr. Eng. Osama Al-Gamal, from the National Anti-Corruption Academy of the Administrative Control Authority.

 

This seminar coincided with the International Anti-Corruption Day and in parallel with the directives of the political leadership to combat corruption and develop a spirit of loyalty and belonging. As well as believing in the essential role of combating corruption in achieving the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and comprehensive sustainable development.

 

Furthermore, the seminar was attended by a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, and students who showed great interaction with its content. The seminar also included questions and interventions to answer students’ inquiries.
