A Cooperation Protocol with ADPS

Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) has recently signed a cooperation protocol with the Arab Academy for Developing Pharmaceutical Skills (ADPS), represented by Prof. Dr. Ali Mohamed Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the Arab Pharmacists Union, and in the presence of Dr. Tarek Ali from the Arab Pharmacists Union office. This initiative activates PUA’s vision centered on building close, sustainable bridges of cooperation between academic institutions and specialized professional training bodies in the pharmaceutical field locally and internationally, directly contributing to preparing qualified human cadres equipped with the deep knowledge and skill sets essential for excellence and leadership.

This strategic cooperation aims to support the educational ecosystem while developing the professional, clinical, and practical skills of the university’s health sector students and graduates, aligning fully with the latest updates and global protocols in pharmaceutical sciences and integrated healthcare. During the signing ceremony, the participating parties reviewed the package of achievements accomplished over the past years regarding the “Arab Pharmacy Board” file, the structural and logistical development applied to its curricula and examinations, and the success and employment rates of consecutive classes that graduated over the past years to enter the Arab and international labor markets with efficiency and merit.

This protocol represents a qualitative leap in the field training journey for PUA’s pharmacy students, offering them an internationally accredited training platform that refines their cognitive tools and prepares them to keep pace with digital transformation and artificial intelligence in drug manufacturing and hospital management. Further, PUA’s administration emphasized that integrating efforts with the Arab Pharmacists Union serves as a core pillar to boost graduates’ competitiveness, opening new professional and research horizons that drive economic growth and serve healthcare causes across the Arab world according to the highest international medical standards.
