Community Violence and Impacts
PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in cooperation with the Faculty of Art and Design, hosted an extensive awareness seminar titled “Community Violence and Its Impact”. This event aims to raise students’ awareness regarding the dangers of violent behaviors while emphasizing the importance of spreading a culture of constructive dialogue and mutual tolerance within the campus and the local community.
The seminar discussed the root causes of community violence and its direct negative impacts on national stability and the fraying of human relationships. It also shed light on the responsibility of youth in promoting positive behaviors and fostering values of cooperation and acceptance among all segments of society. The event witnessed outstanding participation and wide engagement from students, who presented promising ideas and initiatives to support social peace and strengthen human cohesion. This seminar falls within the continuous efforts of the CSED to sponsor educational and awareness initiatives that effectively contribute to building a more conscious and cohesive society.
