In a prestigious atmosphere of pride, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design held a special ceremony to honor its academically and scientifically distinguished students. The event was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Maha Darwish, Dean of the Faculty. The ceremony witnessed broad participation from faculty members and parents who shared in the celebration of their children’s achievements, reaffirming the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and academic excellence.
During his keynote address, Dr. Etman expressed the university’s immense pride in its creative students, highlighting that excellence is the natural fruit of ambition and continuous diligence. He urged the students to maintain their creative spirit within the campus to effectively contribute to Egypt Vision 2030. The event also featured the formal announcement of the “Excellence Courses” system, an innovative mechanism that designates one core course per semester as a benchmark. Students achieving an A or A+ grades in these specific courses are recognized as elite performers, with the top ten from each faculty selected periodically for official recognition and special privileges matching their achievements.
