Legal and Ethical Aspects of Green Transformation

As part of its third environmental campaign named “Green Pharos”, PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions hosted an extensive workshop titled: “Legal and Ethical Aspects in Implementing Green Transformation”. The workshop also tackled environmental preservation within Egypt’s orientation to establish sustainable development principles.

The workshop, which was held in collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Therapy, was held in line with the Faculty’s commitment to highlighting the legislative dimension of green transformation concepts. It also aimed to introduce students and faculty members to the legal and ethical frameworks that govern environmental protection and support the state’s drive towards sustainable development.

The event was supervised by Dr. Islam Abu Zaid, Faculty’s Green Pharos representative, alongside Dr. Ramy Salama, Green Pharos representative at the Faculty of Physical Therapy. They provided a detailed explanation of the laws and ethical obligations related to sound environmental practices. The workshop included open discussions on the importance of environmental compliance within universities and the role of legal faculties in spreading legislative awareness regarding environmental issues, thus enhancing the University’s contribution to supporting Egypt’s Vision for Sustainable Development.
