Stemming from the role of the Community Service Center at PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design in supporting professional development and enhancing media awareness, the Center hosted a specialized seminar for faculty members titled “Introduction to Contemporary Journalism and Media Skills.”
The seminar was presented by journalist Dr. Hoda El Saaty, Journalist at El Shorouk newspaper and Undersecretary of the Journalists Syndicate in Alexandria, where she reviewed the latest journalistic work tools, media interaction skills, and the fundamentals of producing professional content capable of enhancing effective communication between the Faculty and the community.
The seminar was held under the direct supervision of Dr. Dina El Kallaf, member at the Faculty’s Community Service Center, with the participation of Dr. Amira Hamdy, Student Activities Coordinator. The event aimed to enhance the competency of faculty members in media writing, news drafting, and professional dissemination of academic activities. This seminar confirms the Center’s commitment to empowering academic staff and strengthening communication bridges between PUA and the local community.
