In light of its 3rd environmental campaign titled “Green Pharos”, PUA’s Faculty of Engineering held a workshop titled “Paper Recycle Workshop”. The workshop aimed at training students on sorting recyclable materials, with a focus on reusing paper and paper waste through innovative and eco-friendly methods. The workshop included practical activities for sorting and classifying paper and transforming it into reusable products within the university campus, thereby contributing to promoting the culture of sustainability and establishing positive environmental behavior among students.
The workshop was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abdel Maqsoud, Academic Supervisor of the Architectural Engineering Department, and Dr. Bakinam Nabil, Faculty’s Green Pharos representative. This initiative supports PUA’s efforts toward achieving Green University standards and the Sustainable Development Goals.
