Painting Without a Brush Workshop

Coinciding with the third environmental campaign launched by PUA under the slogan “Green Pharos,” the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) held a distinctive art workshop titled “Painting Without a Brush.” The workshop offered an innovative experience based on producing artworks using diverse materials, moving away from traditional tools.

Dr. Gailan Hussein, Lecturer in the Painting Department, led the session, showcasing unconventional methods of artistic expression with a focus on utilizing simple and recycled materials. This vision aims to produce creative artworks with a unique character. The workshop saw great interaction from participants who had the opportunity to experiment with new techniques themselves, enhancing their artistic skills and encouraging innovative thinking.

This workshop confirms PUA’s commitment to spreading a culture of environmental sustainability by integrating recycling concepts into artistic activities. Such initiatives contribute to achieving a perfect balance between creativity and environmental preservation, reinforcing students’ awareness of their responsibility towards nature through aesthetic and sustainable artistic solutions.
