As part of its commitment to integrating academic study with practical applications, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, hosted a specialized workshop titled “Utilizing AutoCAD in Interior Design Planning”. The workshop focused on equipping students with the essential technical skills required for professional practice.
The session covered the core principles of using AutoCAD to create precise architectural layouts, with a specific focus on developing “Working Drawings” for interior spaces. Through hands-on practical applications, students learned how to utilize digital tools to organize and render engineering plans with high accuracy. The Student Activities Department highlighted that this training is vital for enhancing students’ technical proficiency, enabling them to effectively employ digital software in their academic projects and future careers. The workshop saw significant engagement from students, reflecting their eagerness to master the digital tools that define modern interior design.
