PUA Joins Alexandria’s Grand Annual Iftar
In a joyful and harmonious Ramadan atmosphere, PUA’s Student Activities Department participated in the Grand Annual Iftar organized by the Alexandria Governorate at the historic Antoniadis Garden. The event was attended by Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, alongside a wide range of representatives from government and private institutions, religious leaders, families of martyrs, people of determination, and sanitation workers, creating a beautiful portrait of social solidarity. PUA was represented by a high-level delegation of vice presidents, deans, and faculty members, along with students representing all twelve faculties, who engaged enthusiastically in this prestigious local tradition.
This participation reflects PUA’s commitment to instilling the values of social responsibility and national belonging in its students. University leadership emphasized that involving students in such community-wide events directly enhances their communication skills and refines their personalities. Furthermore, it serves as a vital opportunity to bridge the gap between the university and civil society, reinforcing Pharos University’s role as a beacon of education and community service in the heart of Alexandria.
