PUA’s Student Activities Department organized a recreational and cultural trip for students from the Faculty of Arts and Design, encompassing prominent tourist and historical landmarks in Cairo Governorate. This underscores PUA’s keenness to enrich its students’ cultural awareness.

The trip began with a tour of the Giza Pyramids area, one of the greatest wonders of the ancient world. Students enjoyed viewing the three pyramids and the Sphinx, gaining insight into the ancient history held by these monuments. Following this, the group proceeded to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, which houses a vast and rare collection of Pharaonic artifacts. Students expressed great admiration for the museum’s modern organization and the archaeological treasures on display, indicating the level of attraction the museum achieved.

The journey concluded with an enjoyable tour of Al-Moez Street, one of historic Cairo’s most ancient thoroughfares. There, students appreciated the beauty of Islamic architectural styles and learned about a collection of mosques and archaeological buildings that narrate important chapters of Egypt’s Islamic history. Participating students expressed their immense satisfaction with this enriching experience, emphasizing the importance of organizing such trips, which contribute to fostering national belonging and developing their cultural and historical awareness, in addition to serving as an opportunity for recreation and communication outside the academic sphere. This highlights the profound impact of these initiatives.
