Transforming Graduate Research into a Digital Academic Experience
PUA’s Faculty of Dentistry launched the “Senior Student Research Days 2026,” spanning three consecutive days of advanced academic work, organization, and scientific presentation. This initiative activates PUA’s strategy aimed at integrating digital technologies into the research ecosystem.
The event witnessed a qualitative leap this year by evolving the research presentation mechanism and transforming it into a fully digital format relying on interactive digital display screens. This shift allowed a more organized and clear review of student research projects and posters, directly contributing to improving the scientific evaluation and review experience while providing a flexible discussion environment.
An elite group of academic figures and professors from the Faculty of Dentistry at Alexandria University participated in reviewing and evaluating the research as external examiners, alongside a gathering of evaluators from PUA’s faculty members. This collaboration added a high-level scientific dimension, naturally enhancing the accuracy, quality, and competitiveness of the academic evaluation process.
The faculty administration formed a specialized committee to oversee the coordination of daily workflow, ensuring the efficient execution of all organizational and logistical phases throughout the three days, while monitoring the academic supervision of the presented theses. This event represents a distinguished experience reflecting genuine integration between academic theories and clinical-research applications, contributing to developing technological presentation tools for student research within the faculty to match international medical standards.
