In a qualitative move reflecting its commitment to developing the academic skills of its postgraduate students, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized workshop titled “Seminar Preparation Essentials: From Planning to Presentation”.

The workshop aimed to equip students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to professionally prepare and deliver academic seminars. It covered several key areas, including:

• Choosing a seminar topic and define research objectives.
• Methods for collecting and organizing scientific material.
• Designing the overall structure of the seminar.
• Preparing presentations using effective visual aids.
• The art of delivery and communication with the discussion panel.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasmine Mamdouh, from the Faculty of Arts and Design, prepared and presented the workshop. The workshop witnessed positive interaction from attendees, underscoring the importance of these topics in supporting students’ academic journeys and enabling them to present their research with confidence and efficiency.
