The faculty of Arts and Design organized a seminar entitled “Using Sculptural Concept in Processing the Form and Function in the Interior Architecture” on Tuesday, 5 November 2019. The keynote speaker of the seminar was Dr. Rania Raouf, a lecturer in the Décor Department who delivered the seminar in the presence of a large number of students. The seminar discussed many topics, including an introduction of the concept of sculptural interior architecture which is a new breakthrough that appears at first glance to be philosophical in formation and construction, but it is realistic, sensory and kinetic in relation to subject and thought. In addition, it is a group of vacuum structures that harmonizes with itself to form an attractive balance in terms of meaning and vision. It is a new style of interior architecture that turns to be a visual and architectural language that embraces its surroundings to form an aesthetic symphony with many meanings.
