Course objectives :

This course aims to develop students\’ knowledge and skills toward franchising by exploring the long and history of franchising. This wander through time sets our foundation for understanding the legal framework, governing bodies and obligations practitioners in the sector are bound by , Explore also the different ways companies grant franchises in Egypt and globally, understanding the roles, rights and responsibilities of each party, benefits and challenges of franchising, students will be able to read and evaluate the franchise disclosure. It also aims to equip students with the basic understanding of pros and cons of owning a franchise, the components of a franchise disclosure document, resources to assist in franchising a business.

Mid Term Exam 20% (20 Marks) Class Activities (Assignments,Presentation , Role play, Assessment of Professional Skills) 30% (30 Marks) Final Written Exam 50% (50 Marks)
