The junior and senior students of the Graphics Department at the faculty of Arts and Design went on a field trip to the 10th edition of the annual exhibition “Technoprint” that was held in Cairo on Saturday, 20 April, 2019. During the trip, the students were acquainted with the modern printing machines, what should be done in the after-design phase, and how to achieve integration between the processes of creating design and printing. The students were also apprised of the kinds of inks used in the printing machines as well as in designing and manufacturing packaging products. The trip was coordinated by Prof. George Nobar, an adjunct professor at the faculty of Arts and Design at Pharos University and also works in the Printing and Publication Studies Department at the faculty of Applied Arts- Helwan University; Dr. Amira Salah El Din, a lecturer at the Graphics Department and Dr. Yomna Salah El Din Ahmed, an assistant lecturer at the Graphics Department.
