Pharos University Received a Delegation of the KTH Royal Institute of Technology
A delegation of the KTH Royal Institute of Technology paid a four-day visit to the faculty of Engineering- Pharos University on 3-6 March, 2019.
The visit programme included delivering lectures to the students of the faculty of Engineering by KTH professors, convening meetings between the two aforementioned parties and holding a ceremony, under the auspices of the faculty of Engineering, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the signing of the cooperation agreement between Pharos University and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
During the ceremony, the KTH delegation was honoured for their valuable and substantial contributions towards developing a PUA-KTH effective partnership during the past ten years. The newly-joined staff members in the PUA-KTH programme were also welcomed during the ceremony.
On another front, a high-ranking delegation, comprised of Prof. Mohamed Gaber Abou Ali, the Dean of the faculty of Engineering; Associate Prof. Albania Nisssan, the PUA-KTH Project Leader; Prof. Mohamed Naeem, the Vice Dean of the faculty of Engineering; Dr. Amr Alsadany, the International Relations Coordinator of the faculty of Engineering and Dr. Menatallah Gowayed, the International Relations Coordinator of Pharos University, paid a visit to the Embassy of Sweden in Cairo on Wednesday, the 6th of March, 2019 to meet the Swedish Ambassador. The visit aimed at throwing light on the forms of cooperation developed between Pharos University and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and extending an invitation to the Swedish Ambassador to attend the graduation ceremony of the students who have joined the PUA-KTH programme which is to be held in next September at Pharos University.
