Course objectives :

To evaluate different CAT tools To translate large texts quickly and efficiently To identify different strategies of CAT. To understand the process of MT, CAT and TM.

Course description :

This course introduces students of translation to the fundamental software programs of computer-aided translation. It is based on how translation memory systems enhance students’ translation skills of large projects. Students are trained in how to use specialized software dexterously.
