Course objectives :

  1. Define the metabolic reactions , regulation and disease related to carbohydrate metabolic disorders.
  2. List the metabolic reactions , regulation and disease related to amino acids metabolic disorders.
  3. Describe the metabolic reactions , regulation and disease related to lipids metabolic disorders.
  4. Summarize regulation and disease related to Hormones.
  5. Summarize metabolic reactions , regulation and disease related to Xenophobic metabolism.

Course description :

This course focuses on the disease associated with metabolic disorders and how to fulfill the nutritional requirement of patients suffering from errors of metabolism. Follow up of the nutritional status of subjects suffering from metabolic disorder and application of the necessary dietary modification.
