The faculty of Legal Studies and International Relations held a seminar on Arabic Literature on Tuesday, 3 December 2019. The seminar was held in cooperation with the Student Union Committee for Cultural Activities. During the seminar, the faculty students showed their talents for writing novels and short stories as well as reciting poetry. It is worth mentioning that the seminar witnessed the participation of a number of renowned poets and critics, including:
- Khamis El Henawy, a great writer.
- Abdullah Abdel Sabour, a renowned publicist and a member of the Writers’ Union of Egypt.
- Ashraf Desouky Ali, who is a poet, critic and a member of the board of directors of the Writers’ Union of Egypt.
- Dr. Mohamed Shehata, who is a poet, critic, a member of the Writers’ Union of Egypt and a lecturer of Sharia (Islamic Law).
