On Thursday, the 25th of July 2019, Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research witnessed the activities of the unified electronic test for students of the final year of the dental and nursing sectors.

The Ministry of Higher Education launched the third round of the unified knowledge test for the faculties of the health sector (Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Nursing). The test was performed by more than 8000 students from 33 public and private universities with a total of 81 faculties of Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Nursing as well as Al-Azhar University. Student of the final tests were conducted at the headquarters of each university at one time.

The tests were followed up by the Central Chamber of the Supreme Council of Universities in the presence of the university presidents. These tests were designed according to the international standards.

The Minister stressed the importance of generalizing the experience of the unified electronic knowledge tests to include the students of the faculties of the health sector. These tests was conducted in accordance with the directives of the political leadership which demand developing the system of higher education and examinations in Egypt as well as  raising the level of the graduates of Egyptian universities, especially the graduates of faculties of the health sector in the Parallel of the graduates of the international universities.
