1- Acquire new histological knowledge and skills essential for study and practice of medical sciences. 2- Correlate the structure of the body cells, tissues and organ systems with their function with emphasis on clinical relevance. 3- Motivate the student to use different scientific resources to enhance self- learning.
Course objectives :
The course contents include Mitosis, tissue types, Classification of epithelial tissue, Types of glands, Connective tissue Neuroepithelium, Classification of connective tissue, Integumentary system, Specialized connective tissue Blood, Bone, cartilage, Muscle tissue, Urinary system and endocrine gland.
