Pharos University formed a consortium with Unilever International and some NGO’s for promoting sustainable community development through encouraging off-campus participation of health care faculty staff & students in educating, training, diagnosing chronic problems in community unprivileged areas and sectors.

The consortium members will collect the output, & perform statistical analysis of the results of the activities & of the overall outcome at the end of each academic year.

Date of first off-campus activity: 31 st October 2006-11-07

Location: Al-Kalaa rural village.

The second visit is scheduled Thursday 7 th December 2006.
