Quality Assurance of Education at Pharos

In the first collaboration between Pharos University and the National Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation through holding a series of training programs, a training session entitled “The Concepts and Components of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Systems” was held at the site of Pharos University in Alexandria (July 5-6, 2008).

In response to an invitation from Pharos University, the University was honored on Sunday, 25/5/2008 by a visit from Professor Dr. Magdi Abdel-Wahab Kassim, the Chairman of the National Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation; Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hisham Barquaoui, the Agency's Vice Chair for Higher Education Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Hamdi Nassar, the Agency's Vice Chair for Azhari Education.

Czech Republic Delegate pays a visit to PUA

A Cooperation Agreement between NRC and PUA

Dutch Universities Delegation visits PUA

On 16/11/2007, a delegation of Dutch universities from Rotterdam and Eindhoven visited PUA to explore opportunities for academic exchange and cooperation. The delegation visited PUa buildings and study halls and admired up-to-date labs, workshops and outpatient clinic.

Irish Delegation visits PUA

Tuition Fees of the Second Semester 2007/2008

Second semester fees are due as of 1/1/2008. Please refer to Students Affairs for paperwork. Payment should be made at CIB at PUA.

New Students Scholarships

PUA offers a number of tuition waivers proportional to the number of students in each faculty (one tuition waiver per 100 students) with a maximum of 3 students per faculty per academic level . Students must have a GPA greater than 4.0.

Omani Cultural Attaché Delegation in Cairo

Within the interest shown by gulf universities by sending students to study in Egyptian universities, the delegation of the Cultural Attaché from the Omani embassy in Cairo headed by Dr. Abd All Rashid bin Ali, cultural consultant to Egypt visited PUA 8/11/2007.
